The Greedy Vacuum Cleaner: A Funny Story About Tidiness, Responsibility, and Lost Toys

What happens when a vacuum cleaner becomes so hungry that it starts eating more than dust and crumbs?

The Greedy Vacuum Cleaner is a playful and imaginative children’s story by Hossein Lotfalali that turns an everyday household problem into a funny and memorable adventure. Set in a warm and loving family home, the story follows three brothers—Vahid, Saeed, and Ali—and their very unusual vacuum cleaner.

The family lives happily in a small, beautiful home. Both parents work hard to provide a comfortable life for their children. The mother, despite being tired after a long day at work, spends much of her time preparing meals, cleaning the house, and taking care of the children. The father also works hard and frequently travels for work.

But there is one problem: the children are playful, energetic, and not very good at putting their things away.

Toys, school supplies, and other belongings are constantly left scattered around the house. No matter how often their mother cleans, the mess quickly returns. Vahid, the oldest brother, even begins to lose important school supplies and wonders whether his younger brothers are hiding them as a joke.

Then something strange begins to happen.

One day, while the family is away, their new vacuum cleaner notices all the small objects lying around the house. Apparently, this vacuum cleaner has a very unusual idea about its job: anything small enough to fit inside its mouth looks like food!

And so, the vacuum cleaner starts eating.

Toy after toy, pencil after pencil, and small object after small object disappear into its bag. With its stomach completely full, the greedy vacuum cleaner returns quietly to its place, leaving the family completely puzzled.

Where have all the missing things gone?

The mystery continues until one day the vacuum cleaner suddenly makes a strange noise and stops working. When the father takes it to the repair shop, the repairman opens it—and discovers something unbelievable: the vacuum cleaner is completely stuffed with the children’s missing belongings!

This surprising discovery finally reveals the truth and teaches the children an important lesson. Their carelessness and untidiness have not only caused them to lose their belongings but have also caused trouble for their vacuum cleaner.

From that day on, Vahid, Saeed, and Ali begin to understand the importance of putting things back where they belong. They learn that being organized can help them find what they need, protect their belongings, and even prevent unexpected problems.

Meanwhile, the vacuum cleaner learns to be satisfied with its proper food: dust and crumbs!

A Story with a Simple but Meaningful Lesson
